Service Description

​I take a relational approach to treatment as I believe that our relationship will impact on your relationships with others, including family, friends, and loved ones. Within this frame, I assist those I work with to understand the implicit, unconscious mental processes that maintain their behavior. I also integrate components of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in a flexible manner. When working with patients under 18, I will in many cases request parental engagement in treatment, which might include recommendations for skills to practice at home or inclusion in conjoint sessions with your child.
